Beautiful photo. Great colors, tones, and depth of field. One thing strikes me as really strange, though: the title. Birds are a minor element in the photo. This is not a photo of birds.

Great capture of the lightning but the exposure was a little too long to maintian the focus of the plume for me. Perhaps a tighter crop on the lightning may have made improved the photo? 5
