Up Where the Air is Clearby PatellaComment by Maverick: Great shot, I've been wanting to do one like this for a long time, but haven't had the opportunity. A closer zoom of the kite might have been better though, (if the zoom on your camera isn't strong enough, pull the kite in ; ) |

Up Where the Air is Clearby PatellaComment by TrickyBuddha: I think you have your focus reversed on this picture. The focal point of the picture IS the kite, but I think you need your up close string to be very focused and detailed, and the kite can afford to be blurry. The clouds as well - I'm not sure why you have them as sharp as they are. They look nice, but they're just a touch of sharpern or two removed from perfect, and have crossed over into distracting. The same goes for the rich blue sky... just sharpened one or two times too many. This picture is well composed though, and very creative, so that adds a good bit of points into it. Nicely done :) and fun, too! |

Up Where the Air is Clearby PatellaComment by CPattee: I love the sky. It would have been better if a larger portion of the kite string could have been outside of the camera view because the out of focus portion really takes away from the wonderful backdrop. |

Up Where the Air is Clearby PatellaComment by nborton: i had the same idea, just no kite. the texture of the clouds really adds to the photo. if there were one thing that i would try and improve upon, it would be the string. |
