if i'd had a kite i would have done this...this is a wonderful shot but i can't give it a higher score because my interpretation of the challenge theme is actually having the camera on the ground and i can't be sure of that from this pic...but i like it!

If you weren't stopped all the way down, I'd have gone for an even faster shutter speed to freeze the string at the bottom. I'm sure it was humming pretty good, and it might not have been possible. The line higher up and the edges on the kite are pretty jaggy, but overall well composed and exposed, and having the string lead all the way up to the kite was a great choice.

I think I'd ave prefered it if the string had been black or a little bit more of a contrast to the clouds.
