| Disturbedby RoeeRozenComment by Paul: OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for my Mu (most underrated) award:
Positives: I just could pass this one by - great scene, well served by the monochrome and the image grain. Bags of atmosphere.
Critical stuff: Not much, I can't shake the feeling that the image might have been better if the composition was shifted 10% to the left but I am nit picking.
Overall: A very effective image. |

| Disturbedby RoeeRozenComment by posthumous: This is a good shot to highlight a fascinating object. That in itself is not enough to win a Posthumous ribbon, but I find this photo emotionally satisfying as well, projecting some sort of world that I want to be in, so I give you a posthumous yellow ribbon.

| Dark Side Of Meby RoeeRozenComment by PennyStreet: I guess this is fog... anyway it looks like fog. I love the two lights with the head/figure between and the layers of darness. Good one. |

| Differentby RoeeRozenComment by tnun: Chilling. Very nice horizonal thirds, each bucolic, and then the smudge of the military chopper. Compelling in its understatement. |
