Abstract Newsby vogueComment by jonkster: I'm not normally into staged shots but this one is great, out of the ordinary, strong sense of fun and technically well done. Pity about the disqualification but who cares, good creative image :( |

Abstract Newsby vogueComment by pitrpan: This is rather amazing, and it's certainly THE photo that stands out from the bunch.....
HOWEVER.. Whilst the photo itself is as amazingly taken, great composed, perfectly lighted as it is..... Perhaps from a personal point of view, I would have liked to have seen more on top of the umbrella.
It feels like the shot just 'ends' there, but it gives me the feeling that there is more to be seen..
Save from that little nudge, the image itself is as close to a perfect example as it can get.

Abstract Newsby vogueComment by hahn23: Wow, a nearly square format image! Like from a Rolleiflex? More like a studio photograph, than a street, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, based on degree of interest. |

Abstract Newsby vogueComment by Sandraatje: If this was really one the street it would be good, however, it looks like it is in the studio. To me this is not street photography, of course I could be wrong, but if it was on the street it would be especially interesting to see something of that too. |

Abstract Newsby vogueComment by EL-ROI: No challenge details means no DNMC to me. What a fun and quirky idea to show the sense of street in a home portrait studio setting. |

Abstract Newsby vogueComment by expatdawn: A bit out of the ordinary doing a studio shot for a street challenge. The fact that I can see behind the backdrop is distracting. |
