I do really like the composition and the concept of the shot. Two things that knock it down for me though are: I can't see any detail in the shoe, although there may not be any, it just looks like a dark figure; and there seems to be a lot of noise especially in the crack of the door. Just my two cents to help you out next time.

Good, but the lines have some distracting aliasing. Be sure to use all 150KB that you're given for Basic challenges when producing your JPG. Also, I don't know your software, but check your resize algorithm.
