The Lighthouseby oskarComment by willem: It is neither a strong silhouette nor a nicely lit subject. The lighthouse is lost in the darkness against the dark background, which is a pity since this scene seems to offer lots of potential. It probably would have been better to get closer, isolate the subject more so it is better recognisable and you get a stronger composition. |

The Lighthouseby oskarComment by photom: Slim Jim composition works well for this. Nice capture of the light as it passed. Wonderful colors. |

The Lighthouseby oskarComment by superdave_909: I wish this were just, maybe a 1/3, perhaps a 1/2 stop more exposed.
Atleast for my taste! But still very nice! 7 |

Bird Talkby oskarComment by jmsetzler: Greetings from the Critique Club:
Good practice: When you request an in depth critique, you should include the exposure information and your own comments about the relativity and intent of the photo. Photos that do not include this information are optional for the critique club members.

Bird Talkby oskarComment by banmorn: I know how hard this is to do. Shooting against the sun is not the best idea on water. The hot spots are way distracting. Their effect can be a nice highlight at times but there is just too much of it here. |
