I love the play on words, fun concept, but the photo itself is lacking in appeal. The woman's hair gets lost against the busy countertop and the lighting does little to draw interest to the display.

YUM!! Walnuts! Okay, not really, not my favorite nut but you made them look good! I like the cropping on this shot and the concept overall. The lighting does bother me though, too much yellow, a little bit brighter and I would start this one a little higher. I'm starting with a 7 but I will be back.

Good subject. Focus is good in the mid and background. The lighting seems like it was taken indoors under flourescent lamps and maybe doesn't do the walnuts justice.

I think you have a strong subject choice here, but the overall composition seems to be a bit lacking. The tonal range seems a bit flat and the yellow tint could be contributing to that.

Good Points: idea and comp are good single nut amongst others brings it out more.
Bad Points:way too much yellow, try removing in ps. a few more nuts would be good at teh foot of the photo

This is a flat image. I mean it has not much dynamic or interesting. If you think of the quote "Photography is all about light" as you shoot you will get more interesting photos. I forget who to attribute the quote to. What did you mean to convey with this picture? And have you made that idea the focal point? I would think that the eyes should be the most intersting but they are slightly out of focus and not well lit. The hair and the lips are actually what stand out the sharpest. I bet with some minor post processing adjustments you could make this image much better.
