Fantastic image and perfect for this challenge. This is exposed perfectly, which is not easy to do with flames! I also love the rich tones and of course the concept.
Personally, I don't like the splotches of wax on the table. I get why it was done, in order to show the decrease in stature of the candles, but to me it is distracting. Because that is personal preference though, I won't deduct anything from the score. I will not be surprised at all to see this pretty high up top. 8
