Siloby kingdesmondComment by Yo_Spiff: Never thought of a steel silo as architecture. I'll be curious to see how this fares. |

Siloby kingdesmondComment by Mark-A: It's a well taken image but the subjects a bit boring which I suspect might hurt your score, I'm going to vote a 5 because technically it looks fine but there's no real interest for me. |

Siloby kingdesmondComment by Lydia: I feel a bit off-balance when I look at this. When I mentally climb that leaning ladder... And the contrast could be upped to give the image a bit more 'pop', I think. |

Siloby kingdesmondComment by boyd2000: I'd say this meets the challenge well. It's an interesting shot and this is non-typical architecture. It looked a bit tilted even in the thumbnail. Even though you used your 50mm lens there is some vertical distortion because of the angle of the shot, and it looks like it was straightened based on the left side of the silo. Straightening based on the center bar may have balanced it more. |

Got a little Captain in ya?by kingdesmondComment by vlado: Captain Morgans has to be one of the worst rums about... it is the enemy of the rum drinker. I like the idea of linking alcohol and driving as enemies, so the idea is brilliant... but the keys are a little lost, the composition isn't great, the shallow DOF doesn't help the image, not does the lighting. And what is that in the bottle (center bottom)? Very distracting... |
