My first impression was that the shadow across the model\'s face is distracting rather than appealing. But after taking the time to really look at the photo, I think it is beneficial. The larger shadow from the pole helps balance the shadow on her left side caused by the strong sunlight and the smaller shadows from the fence wire help show the contours of her face. Good composition and perfect cropping.

Had to look twice to see what you were talking about! It looks like the house down the street from me only without the man in the window. The sharpness is wanting and contrast is low. A 5 to start

Peacock feathers are beautiul and I think it could work for this challenge. However, the background is so busy that the feather barely stands out. I think the feather would look great on a solid (black?) background.
