i like the depth of field and colors here, as well as the sense of motion. looks like it might have been overly sharpened to compensate for bad focus, but the shot is still very nice. good composition and positioning. nice work.

This is an interesting photo... I am scoring it an 8... the lighting looks very strange on it though.. it looks like a flash was fired.. is this possibly rear curtain sync? I would love to hear how this photo was done after the challenge :) The only critique that I have is purely compositional preference... I would have positioned the flower on the left side of the frame since the wind appears to be blowing from left to right... good shot :) - jmsetzler

I like the blowing effect. The flower is definately new. Very pretty colors. The background is interesting due to the fact that there is nothing in it. I wish it could have been a little more in focus, but don't know how you could have accomplished that and still have the blowing effect. Over all a very nice photo. Good luck with the challenge.

Flowers were overdone (again) in this week's challenge (I think anyway!) This is a nice picture of a flower and I like the color. Without knowing about the wind (from your title) I would have thought it was a really poor picture of a really beautiful flower. The blurring on the right side distracts me.
