such an awesome image ... funny how ppl dont like the shadow from the flash behind the leg .. i really like it .. it makes it look like he's nearly superimposed in the scene .. like a drop shadow that pushes him forward .. congrats on the well deserved ribbon .. :)

I intentionally did not show his face, because I thought the expression would draw attention away from the whole composition.

The blur in his feet was captured through a slow enough shutter, this was done to show movement, rather than have it look more like a pose.

no break between flashes. all simultaneous.

now off to the nearest happy hour to celebrate! ;)

Great shot and strobe control. A tad blur on top foot, for which I got crucified in an earlier challenge last year but it's definitely needed more in photography. The shadowed face is also fine. Good work.
