The naked truth?by AmasonComment by ScantyNebula: I think with this shot, its the "implied" nudity thats there. Who cares if he's nude or not .. the fact that the figure is silhouetted leaves the option of him being nude out there, I don't think you should actually have to see a naked body. |

The naked truth?by AmasonComment by siggi: I think it fits the challenge even though most of the other pictures fit better. It has a very refreshing toutch to it.
I gave it a 7. |

The naked truth?by AmasonComment by Konador: I gave this photo a 5, which is the highest mark I ever give for a photo that (in my opinion) doesn't fit the theme of the challenge. How do I know the person is nude? They could be wearing clothes for all I know. It just didnt fit my perception of the nude challenge.
In a free study challenge I probably would have given it 8. I like the colouring and the sky and the pose, but it think it goes too dark too quick at the bottom. I would have preferred to see a more gradual fade to black so that more of the hill/mountain could be visible. |

The naked truth?by AmasonComment by ScantyNebula: OMG I can't believe you weren't at least in the top ten .... wow .. Its funny cause I looked at the first two pages and thought - Oh No! It must've been disqualified :( Then low and behold I find in at a 5.7 ... tsk tsk .. I don't understand why 100 people would give this ONLY a 5. I'm sorry it didn't work out as well as I'm sure you were hoping ... better luck next time and keep it up :) |

The naked truth?by AmasonComment by Amason: Nude isn't all about private parts folks! ;-)
Thanks for all of the positive comments, I greatly appreciate it. Azrifel suggested a square crop, maybe that would be better, I'll try that, thanks! Otherwise I was trying to balance the photo with my composition, having the clean heaven at the top against the dark ground at the bottom.
The idea was that the man is standing there like on a top of a peak nearest to the almighty, hoping to find some answers for his questions; "what is the meaning of life?", "what is the naked truth?" (I shortened it to "The naked truth?"). I understand that people couldn't get the idea, but on the other hand, the model is butt-naked, that shouldn't be questioned or doubted. Have a nice day, yehaaa...! |

Can hope fix everything?by AmasonComment by Ranger: No, but a good power drill and some cash will do the job. Cool photo. I can see why you've kept all the sky, since it's so interesting, but the man/woman gets lost in the picture. Maybe a little tighter cropping... |
