Escapeby vawendyComment by vawendy: It was intentional. I've really been trying to play with more of an old masters/rembrandt toning. Sometimes not quite that toning, but the yellows and the greens you find on some older paintings. Sometimes I manage to hit it, sometimes it's not quite there.

Escapeby vawendyComment by armando_m: I should probably say , would be better if the main light source was the lantern
a wonderful shot regardless ... :) |

Escapeby vawendyComment by Cory: I agree with your daughter about her eyes. This is better.
One question: Was the greenish cast an intentional processing decision? The WB in the outtake image is very true, so I'm curious. Message edited by author 2015-01-09 16:17:59. |

Escapeby vawendyComment by markwiley: Nicely imagined, composed and lit. I might have liked to see more light from the lamp to support the illusion that that is what is lighting the subject. |

The Catchby vawendyComment by MaryO: I recognize that bird! My shot wasn't nearly as good; glad I didn't enter it :-) |

The Catchby vawendyComment by MeMex2: Wendy, this is simply extraordinary. I thought for sure it would be in the TT.
I love the way it is framed ...really ever thing about it. The people who gave this a three or four
are obviously off their meds.
