Oh I love this. It has a surreal sense to it. I wish the background weren't so mottled, but that's a nit. I can certainly see this on the cover of a book with red text. :) Nice.

nice take on the subject and nicely lit (maybe a touch bright on the broken flower). For the composition though I think you should not have included the vase.
