Yes, like the idea, but the vapour trails are not the place where the eye comes to rest - they are incidental. All the leading lines drag the eye off down the pier.

Also check the horizon - falls off to the right.

I like the capture for a personal photo in a collection, however as a challenge entry the image does not jump out to me. You have the glare in the lens which is distracting too me.

Very interesting corner that you have picked. This shot defiantly makes the viewer look twice to see what is here, and of course some voters might have just blown on by. I really do like the original thought. The coloring seems a little off, I seem to notice it the most in the bottom right corner. The lighting seems off because of the coloring of the green on the bottom compared to the greens located on the upper part of the image. I think you have more of an abstract view, which is something I love to see. Good job!

Not a bad scene, but hurt by lens flare and more importantly, the tilted horizon. The flare might be lessened by holding a piece of paper or some other diffusing material above the lens to shield the sun. Rotating can be done easily in photoshop or any other image editing program.
