The Thin Blue Lineby GeneralEComment by ursula: Hadn't seen this one before, weird picture. Actually, the picture is not weird, the line on the street is. Actually, not weird, just unusual. How long does it go on? It's a beautiful blue. Would make driving rather difficult, I tell the kids that it's imperative to avoid touching all white lines while driving, and I wouldn't know what to do with a blue line. Hmmmm. I don't know. |

Grande Finaléby GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Originally posted by RinkRat: A little more noise than I care for, and I think the hand on the wrong side of the shower bugs me a bit. Great concept. |
Thanks everyone -- lots of interesting/fun comments!
This one highlights my biggest problem with the set-up: how to shoot at this angle without the camera being right in the stream of water, so I decided the "finalé" would occur just as the person stepped out of the shower.
I agree having a little more arm showing would be good, but this was the best of the lot -- all shot handheld -- that I could get with the showerhead a little in-focus. Low light created the grain to start with, so I just accentuated it -- to me, the effect rather resembles a mezzotint |
