Military Superflowerby GeneralEComment by Maverick: Not a bad scene, but hurt by lens flare and more importantly, the tilted horizon. The flare might be lessened by holding a piece of paper or some other diffusing material above the lens to shield the sun. Rotating can be done easily in photoshop or any other image editing program. |

Military Superflowerby GeneralEComment by Tammer: For me, I don't see the celebration connection in your photo (sorry). Your title refers me to the sky, but when I look at your shot my eyes stay focused on the boardwalk and the bright sun refelctions of the water on the left hand side. Perhaps a different time of day would work better? |

Military Superflowerby GeneralEComment by Jutilda: I like the sky decoration, but I'd most definitely straighten the til of this shot. The water on the left seems a bit "hot" - probably due to the time of day. |

Whole Lotta Shakin' Gone Onby GeneralEComment by metoecus: I'm not entirely sure what this is, but I'm not a coffee drinker, so I may just be unfamiliar with this device. I think the shot would have been more interesting if you'd have cropped the image to focus on the wavy rings around the vertical bar on the right, removing everything but this and the surrounding chrome. This would have rendered the image more abstract and minimalistic. which I like, but often isn't well received by the voters here. |
