Fast Foodby GeneralEComment by Tammer: Interesting take on the challenge. I guess it was so good, you ate it so fast, that you don't want the rest of us to know what it was? Lol. |

AgaMoss-B_IMG_4100-DPC8.jpgby GeneralEComment by pawdrix: "There's always that risk with a blurred shot that it will just look like a regular shot that wasn't focused (I'm sure some people feel that way about every blur photo). This photo gets dangerously close to that point for me. " -Posthumous
I don't critique all that well but Posthumous said it better than I could have. This image leads me to the "why?" question. Why or how does the blurring make or help this image? In the abstract...anything goes but there doesn't seem to be enough detail lost to place this image in the abstract so I'm only left with, why did the photographer blur this flower?
I was posing that question to myself before hitting the shutter to see if there were any purpose to the technique I was applying or whether I should stop and move on. If I had and answer or a reason, then I continued with the shot. That's the best way I can explain the way I'm looking at all the images using this technique. |

Still In The Closet?by GeneralEComment by dahkota: Too bad people here can't appreciate this exactly as it is. Too wrapped up in sharpness, subject matter, noise, etc, I guess. I see Barnett Newman and find it very intriguing. A play on IFs if you will... |
