good idea, but maybe you could have positioned a light source to capture light reflections off the ice to make it more attractive? The grey's kinda dull here..

Ok, I see...new ice is usually thin...There's a connection to the challenge...but it's very hard to tell that is ice in the picture...Actually it looks a lot like wax. And, the bright spot right above it is a bit distracting. An original idea however...
