Macrobiotic Dietby GeneralEComment by faidoi: Great job with the depth of field. Love the colors separating the different types of beans. The beautiful shadows and the reflections help to bring out the subjects in the picture. |

After the Impactby GeneralEComment by espenyogi: im sorry, i feel this is a bad shot, What are you trying to draw attention to? What is at rest? "The Camera"? With 3/4 of the shot out of focus I was about to skip and click onto the next photo. I thought you may like feedback thats all - dont get upset, it's the only way to get better |

After the Impactby GeneralEComment by faidoi: Really nice focusing to get the depth of field you got. You can almost feel the pebbles on the floor. Beautiful reflections in the glass pieces. |

Cynthia and Roseby GeneralEComment by GeneralE: Thanks, I'll pass along the compliments to my brother. I don't even know what kind of camera he used for this -- it was in the pre-digital days.
BTW, Cynthia's our (second?) cousin. |

After the Impactby GeneralEComment by LucidLotus: An interesting interpretation. The bits of glass have a story to tell, and I can imagine something having come to rest, however violently, from looking at the glass shards. I like the cool blue hue of the image, but I do find the half screen of blurredness to be very distracting. I cannot tell if that was purposeful (my guess is not), but I would find the image more interesting if it were entirely in focus, or if the blurring was kept to the outer edges as a thin border. I rated this lower than I might have due to the blurring. |

After the Impactby GeneralEComment by zummer: this narrow depth of field makes the picture more interesting.
the big piece of ice at the left is distracting. |
