Summer's Last Hurrahby LeoComment by glad2badad: Hey now....here's a keeper for sure! Nice, gentle leading line takes me right to the beachgoer and then I'm free to wander off to the rocks... I really like how you've kept the whites a true white. Makes a big difference IMO. Very, very, nice! |

A Country Roadby LeoComment by glad2badad: Very lovely image. Makes one want to be there, at least it does for me! :-) I like how you anchored the left with the vertical tree. This comp has a nice easy feel to it. Well done! |

Summer's Last Hurrahby LeoComment by Leo: Originally posted by Yo_Spiff: Ohh, niccce! The slight fog gives it some nice dimension. Perhaps a touch of noise reduction in the clouds is the only nitpick I might make. I don't know if IPhoto even has noise reduction built in. |
Hi Steve, ya, I noticed it too. iPhoto has a very basic noise reduction slider and I applied it some, but that's the other thing I need to learn and improve is PP techniques. Thanks for all your comments throughout the challenge. |

A Country Roadby LeoComment by Leo: Originally posted by pixelpig: Love the Blue haze. What rocky-topped mountain is this? Looks like a lovely Sunday drive. |
Mt Hood, Oregon from the north side on Hwy 35. It's way more impressive in the winter or spring when there's lots of snow on it. |

Pike Place Fishby LeoComment by pixelpig: Aren't these the fishmongers who published that little motivational book? The Pike Place Market seem's to've become a lot more of a tourist trap than when I lived there. But I remember how they used to pop their paper bags & holler out your order. A fun place. This shot has it. |

Hot Dog Mobileby LeoComment by pixelpig: Give a whole new twist to "shot in auto" mode, doesn't it? It has a fine driveby feel to it & nice color too. |
