Looks like paint! Very dirty subject you chose there. The tissue spoils it. Maybe you could have let the blood drip on the tiles and snap the splattered drops would be better. Corners of the tile missing, tissue would be better more inside and whole. Even better if you'd wipe the dirty blood on the floor. Don't like it! Sorry!

The thought that comes to mind when looking at this photo is,"How desperate do you have to be for subject matter before you turn to something as dull as this?" Technically, I guess it's not too bad a shot but it is very very boring in terms of color, texture, tonal contrast, and topical interest (I like my Macs too but, jeesh!) You could have possibly added interest to this by framing the Apple log in one of the lower corners rather than at the center edge. I gave this a three.

Very simple. The photo is a bit grey and not too engaging or interesting. The shadow is nice, but the colors are a bit drab. I would consider a different subject or perhaps put something else like a mouse or keyboard in the shot too.
