KCby BAMartinComment by Ken: This really has that nostalgic feel to it. If he had on one of those old cowboy hats it would pass easily. |

Pat in the Doorwayby BAMartinComment by ErikV: Nice how the dog is framed not only side to side by the doorway but also front to back by the plants and inside of the cabin. Nice looking dog! |

Free to Good Homeby BAMartinComment by JuliBoc: Who could resist after seeing this beautiful and adorable photo. Can't help wondering what is holding their attention. No wonder you found homes for them so quickly. |

White Hollyhocksby BAMartinComment by drydoc: Ohhh. The flowers are pretty but the background is too overpowering. The roof is ok. . . its those windows that get in the way. |

White Hollyhocksby BAMartinComment by MaryO: I'm going to be contrary and say I like the roof as a background quite a bit, but not the house below (not enough contrast and too many other details). So I might just crop differently, or shoot from a slightly lower angle. |

White Hollyhocksby BAMartinComment by sfalice: Flowers are great. Love the white color.
It would also look good (maybe even better) if you could
isolate one or more of them against the sky or a plain background
The rooftop, etc. is just a touch busy... |

Beached Boatby BAMartinComment by MelonMusketeer: I see that this was shot a few years ago. It looks like a tropical depression was in the Gulf when you took it, so I looked up the date, and sure enough, T S Enrique was in the area. The particular wave pattern, and the low "scud" clouds in the sky are a strong indication that a storm is offshore. I hope that it didn't ruin your trip.
The photo is cool too. The light is just about right to have the feel of the actual scene. I can almost hear the surf.
Here's a link to the Nat'l Weather Service page about the storm.
