Wow! No wonder it is one of your favortes! It's beautiful and has such amazing character. I gotta figure this one would not have near the impact in color as it does in black and white. I am loving how this side challenge is showing us some of the great things to see in other places. Almost like a "Where you Live" challenge.

Excellent composition to lead us into the picture. Tones and clarity in the foreground are very well done. The sky on my monitor is showing a lot of banding and noise (and a few minor dust bunnies). If you want to re-edit, try the thing Bear was talking about the other day, of converting the sky differently than the rest of the shot.

Nice picture of this hotel (specially compared to some that I saw in that historical link. cool to see it before though). I think one of the big problems of this shot, especially for DPC isn't extremely interesting to look at...it doesn't have the DPC "wow" factor. I think it is interesting to look at, especially with the vibrant colors and depth you've captured, but it is basically a picture of decaying hotel. I think it'd be cool to see somebody inside it looking around, but maybe that's dangerous. cool shot though.

Wow! This is one of the best I've seen in this challenge so far. The pathway is soooo good, and leads you (of course) right into the ruins. It looks like a wide angle shot??? I would love to know your camera settings, lens, etc.
