The long, gradually narrowing path in this excellent black and white ever so patiently unwinds until it crosses a gap in the mountain. It's a paean to the simple vastness of the West. As if this isn't enough, there are glorious storm clouds overhead, and a storm indifferently raging off to the right. It speaks to me and is going into my favorites

You may have been shooting during a shady time of the day, as the scene lacks interesting highlights and shadows. It's flat to my eye. Pretty nice clouds out there. This subject has potential. I think it needs a bit more interesting composition.
