Frosted Crayonsby AmmieComment by landon1013: This picture is a little odd to me. Is there a bowl over the crayons or something? It's kinda hard to tell what it is...... |

Lost-a-Tack!by AmmieComment by Teafran: Sometimes an image can be much too subtle do be truly effective - as it does in this case. At first, the impression was that the image was a true DNMC, but on comment review, the subject was finally found. From a technical standpoint, this is a purely technical success and in another setting would be a terrific image, but to meet this challenge, this reviewer feels that hunting for the title subject is a major flaw. Perhaps a more central focus on the subject matter (meaning that it would be less offset) would have been a much better approach. |

Feathered Satinby AmmieComment by Sheryll: Good textures, composition and contrast. Color temperature in the bg from ambient light is giving red hue. It isn't bad if you intended it but it wouldn't be my choice. Looks like you used an on camera flash. Maybe a fill light from above at 5500 kelvin would help though. |

Frosted Crayonsby AmmieComment by Ja-9: what would have happened if you had focused in on the roses/flowers on the bottom only they reflect the crayons/pencils better...I think that would have been a more powerful shot |
