This is extraordinary, I’m thinking obviously it’s Ammie. There is always a golden glow in every one of your pictures. Obviously you are shooting in the golden hour... this one is pure magical. I’ve seen scenes like this in movies, where the cattle are moving along and lifting up the dust from the ground and often thought I would love to be there one day witnessing and photographing this special event. This is probably one of your best landscapes ever.

Terrific dynamic resonance in this seemingly minimalist image. We wonder what each of them are feeling. Seems like a lot going on, but how can we really know. The background of dried grass seems incidental, though I feel its sweep of tones and textures is a fitting and understated stage for this quiet drama, this foray into growing up. Nicely and simply balanced. Her red pants and his red socks tie it together.
