Running Late?by Covert_OddityComment by Starbanana: Patience was definitely rewarded. I can see why you would like one in the bus lane itself as would fill frame more with bus zoom but I think the shot as it stands is really good. And with the bus zooming past in the normal lane it and the message it just adds to it. |

I "Heart" Londonby Covert_OddityComment by Ter: there is so much to view in this
the blurred B/ground really highlights the topic of the image which is really very crisp |

High Rise Mailroomby Covert_OddityComment by salmiakki: It's funny, I also thought I had commented on this one after the challenge was over. I loved this. It was one of my highest scoring in the challenge.
I loved the reflections in the floor. |

I "Heart" Londonby Covert_OddityComment by salmiakki: I'm a bit behind in commenting on this challenge (and submitting come to that!). I loved this one. Like you, I found the irony to be rather amusing. |

Tough Day At The Officeby Covert_OddityComment by spiritualspatula: Great capture of the "rat race" and "concrete jungle." To me, the best parts about this are the way the sun is shining in, and seeming so far off and elevated above the ground and the sheer size of the buildings and how well they show how miniscule the individual is. The strong contrast and texture on the bricks is nice too. |

High Rise Mailroomby Covert_OddityComment by spiritualspatula: I thought I had commented on this when it was in the challenge, honestly. The stark contrast of the red and the black are what really sell this photo to me. This would be an interesting room in its own right, without the red mailboxes, but that's the element that really sets it apart. I like that you included enough of the wall for us to see it curve around. I also think this might have been pretty neat as a vertically oriented shot, with the bottom of the frame parallel and nearly resting upon the wall so that the mailboxes trailed away "upwards" as it might seem. Sorta reminiscent of 2001 when he's doing his running exercise in the rotating chamber. Great shot either way. |
