I like where you're going with this. Rally like that it's black and white and like the interaction between the two. Be careful about overdoing the blurring of the background, though. One of the odd side affects is it almost creates a miniaturized scene. Keep shooting the street stuff - it's almost as addicting as buying more toys. Well, more addicting, but I don't want to scare you off... :-)

And I happen to think that the highs and lows help with this shot because it emphasizes the bright display versus the street shopper and everything else.
