"The Lizard of Oz"by faidoiComment by GeneralE: Thank goodness someone had the nerve to post a twist on a title -- I'll be posting a few as out-takes after the voting, but I ended up going with a "straight" interpretation myself.
Good luck! Someone seems to have opened the drain on the humor reservoir around here lately ... |

Name in Lightby faidoiComment by dertyklobb: Stack 'em up a bit more. Make it look like they fell more realistically. Your lighting leaves something to be desired, as does your background, but the perspective and texture of this photograph is mesmorizing. Message edited by author 2003-11-12 02:57:59. |

Name in Lightby faidoiComment by Neuferland: Different idea, unique. I like that but it really doesn't grab my attention and hold it there. You say name in light which made me look if you had spelled something out with the matchsticks. But I couldn't find anything, you tease! ;) The lighting is well done and the DOF is also well doen. I started this at a 4 but am moving it to the 8 |

Duckby faidoiComment by Ornis: Nice details, colors reflection and water ripples. Image is too small to appreciate it well, but it\'s sharp and well framed. Not exactly on topic. |

Duckby faidoiComment by Quadrajet: The first thing I noticed about this image was how different it is from other waterfowl shots. I like the composition, how the duck is positioned on the left 3rd line with the dark ripples fanning out from it in the upper corners. I'm especially glad you captured it turning its head, that adds a great dynamic to the image. Nice work! |
