I actually like the one that you entered better. Now that I am looking at the picture(better) I see what you were going for. I like the use of the B/W showing the old way we used to do things.

With the desaturation of the sky I was hoping for more emphasize upon windpower. Plus the weather was sunny with high winds. I was trying to capture some of the clouds that went by.

| i like the pic minus the effect...i don't judge badly on any pic that uses this type of effect...its just not my thing - too doctored looking. I think it would work in color....but anyway the composition is very nice, everything is framed well. good use of negative space, etc. Good location to take that pic with the fence like that... nice work. |

some one owns the windmill
had to build it - has to maintain it
