Beautiful picture but I am a little confused as to what this has to do with the name you gave it.

This is a beautiful image!!! I love it. I gave this a 10. Some people just don't understand art.

I actually like the one that you entered better. Now that I am looking at the picture(better) I see what you were going for. I like the use of the B/W showing the old way we used to do things.

With the desaturation of the sky I was hoping for more emphasize upon windpower. Plus the weather was sunny with high winds. I was trying to capture some of the clouds that went by.

Original version.

The desaturation does not do anything to improve this picture... I would rather have let it be all b&w

Good capture, would have liked to see the green of the trees.

Good picture, but somehow, I prefer seeing green foliage rather than desaturated like this.

i like the pic minus the effect...i don't judge badly on any pic that uses this type of effect...its just not my thing - too doctored looking. I think it would work in color....but anyway the composition is very nice, everything is framed well. good use of negative space, etc. Good location to take that pic with the fence like that... nice work.

what era was that?
some one owns the windmill
had to build it - has to maintain it
so how do you figure it was free?
not a bad photo

I don't understand the meaning of the title and image in relation to the theme.

I like the black and white/color effect.

The desaturation of all colors except blue doesn\'t really fit well to that picture; I would have preferred the picture in B/W only
