This is AWESOME.... My ONLY suggestion and it was because of your title, is to crop off the reflection of the people in the bottom, When I scroll down to cut them off I seriously see VanGoh... Still is totaly awesome!!

She looks either cold or scared, maybe. To my eyes, she is boxed in a bit too much here. The background and the girl in some ways blend really well, but in some ways are fighting with each other and for attention from the viewer. The girl being so boxed in (shoe bottoms just about at the bottom edge, top of hat just about at the top of the picture) makes it look, to me, like she is not really the subject. Which makes the background the subject. But my mind is saying, "No, silly, that's the background!" So the whole thing is the subject. Yet, it seems to be missing something. It's like there's this energy there that is somehow stuck in a box and not going anywhere. Sorry about going on. Not sure exactly what else to say about this picture.

Hello Teammate, look we are neck and neck in the placing.
I think the reason this did not resonate with the voters was:
1) People wanted an image looking down
2) The building in the bottom right might have been distracting to some
3) These cityscape types of shots don't appeal to the DPC crowd

I love the photo, the grain, the feeling in the cityscape, the darkness. I see no pit or locust? but the feeling works well with the challenge.
