I kinda like the other one better but both are fine. I like the "clean" whites of the other. I prefer the crop on this one though, it is a little tighter.

I really like this composition Penny..very "slice of life" and fitting for city streets. I love the roof? and dark trees in the back that frame the skaters. I love the contrast and glad you "went with it". I also like that you can still see detail in the faces even with the darkness of the people. Love just "watching" these people.

Well, doesn't he look rushed off his feet !

I think you did a great job with this. The DOF is excellent.

I love this shot!

Even the difference in motion blur of two boys, adds to it. They are so unaware of you too. Or are they pretending not to see. Both ways, I am liking the interplay of photographer and subjects. The peopleless background creates a nice contrast.

I like the expression of this person and the context that he is in. The people in the background form interesting outlines.

(The pose of the person, is the only thing that I am getting a little stuck on and is leaving me with a slight discomfort as a viewer. I am wondering, maybe you would have approached him from different angle. But in that case you would have lost the background. Or maybe you would have pulled a little back to increase your canvas. ..Just wondering...).

so the guy is just standing there or making graffiti, it can't be seen clearly, amd it's not the best angle for this shot

Awesome street photography! I think you did a great job using the slower shutter speed to capture the movement of the cars in the boulevard and still keep the boys from being blurred. The colorful subject really stand out against the background. This is a super dynamic shot! I'll bet you have a great main street entry in this weeks challenge!
