Weird and unearthly, this photo is not only about yellow, it speaks to me that yellow can be fascinating and interesting. The pure void in the background is a perfect backdrop for the ever interesting textures. The focus or sharpness could possibly be better, but this is a nice photo for me.

Good shot - though I'm not quite sure what I am looking at (hope that doesn't make me incredably oblivious), it definately meets the challenge, the composition is good and the focus and colors are good as well!

wow the lighting is incredible! I love the contrast and color as well... and how the contrast and brightness washed out any background to get in the way... nice use of the negative space... my only complaint is I would like to see sharper focus... perhaps making sure the lens is at it widest angle? maybe a higher Fstop?? or how about backing up a little? I know that helps me focus in on macros sometimes... or how about a tripod? not sure which of these if any ideas are right, just guessing.... let me know ok? good luck! (I picked up a +7 and +10 filter for the sony at Circuit City) they really help when getting this close (7)

This is absolutely beautiful. Is it considered to be a flower, or a plant. I love it. This should be number 1. It is a fantastically done photo, plus it is so unique. You nailed this one. Congratulations on your 10.

Just how strange would one want? Would anyone that voted this a 1, 2 or 3 be kind enough to explain what they thought was bad about this? I promise, no arguements, I just want to be a better photographer, please help me.

This is the worst! 6 ones! Really! 17 twos and 46 threes??? What about LOOKING at the picture? I screwed up at least three major issues in this illusion. 5 seconds is not enough time for any kind of illusion, good or bad. Bahhhhh!
Could anyone from the lower three score grouping say what was "bad" about this?
