I really like this. Love the square crop. Great composition, very nice lighting. Nice catch lights. The pose really draws me in to the image. Only very minor nitpick, a few hotspots on lips. Really nice photo, great job.

A very well composed shot in my mind, using the rule of thirds as to placement of the ant. The color of the lower is nice and vibrant, while still remaining natural looking (not over saturated).
The detail with this macro is what stands out the most. You really captured the ant with very good clarity. Had this been submitted into a Macro challenge or Insect challenge I feel you would have placed higher. Being that the image is entered into a flower challenge, I feel it needed more attention on the flower itself to score higher. Very nice work though, keep on shooting!
