The only thing that bothers me with this is that her skin is too smooth. Her fingers and nose are too soft which make her eyes look too sharp. Also her lips are processed unevenly? There is some texture in the top and none on the bottom. If you tone down the softness and make it more balanced I would give it a higher score. The concept, lighting and model are all very good.

Holy cow! I know someone who got published on 1x. "D Congratulations! The thing that caught my eye was the contrast on this. It has what I call story-telling contrast. It makes me understand how the owl can be invisible against its BG. And it's very lively in the thumb, which I like.

I really like this. Love the square crop. Great composition, very nice lighting. Nice catch lights. The pose really draws me in to the image. Only very minor nitpick, a few hotspots on lips. Really nice photo, great job.
