The simplicity of many phoitos here works, however I am not sure you have acheieved it here. The keyboard location I think needed to be lower and further right, more towards the corner to really make the statement here

Is it moving, and that's why it's not that sharp in places? Without the title, this is not as interesting because I don't know that's water out there. Perhaps a bit more of something to add context? I don't think an image should require a title to be appreciated. That said, I've never seen the inside of a lighthouse light so I think this is fascinating. (not voting yet)

It is the Yaquina Head Lighthouse near Newport, Oregon, yes?! You had to have crawled up inside to get this shot. I like all the reflections and I think you did a good job of getting the exposure right. I think it would bemore interesting if you had taken it from a more unexpected angle.

I liked this, and I scored it very highly. I felt this was one of those images that might not be technically perfect, but it captured a moment in a very honest way, and I connected to the challenge theme immediately. Your image told a story and led me to wonder how our fellow fared in his race.
