Clever if slightly macabre concept and effectively executed. It looks almost real and the expression on her face displays genuine fear of what's about to happen. It is of course no small matter taking your own life and ending it all. A real gun might have given an even more realistic effect.

Of No Use Anymore

Rusty,bent,twisted and entwined remains of once useful articles and objects including cars, corrugated iron,empty drums tires and an odd assortment of other unidentified objects join together to form a masterly image of great beauty with a deep message and at the same time fits in extremely well with the challenge theme. I especially like that one can still see a small part of nature in the background as evidenced by the trees and the way it forms a contrast with the rest of the image. Almost as if to say..."look! this is nature, fresh and sustainable and full of life and fresh beginnings" and the rusty, bent twisted and entwined remains of once useful articles and objects including cars, corrugated iron,empty drums tires and an odd assortment of other unidentified objects just lie there, silent and dead and of no more use.
