Gone fishin'by ronaldfwComment: I love this, a really great shot with excellent composition. It appeals to me even more because I am a keen rock and surf angler myself having fished most of the beaches, coves and estuaries along the South African coastline between Natures Valley and Cape Town and can really identify with this wonderful image. |

A shadow of the pastby NeatComment: Lovely. Exudes an air of nostalgia. You lift the veil of the past with this image to give us a glimpse of a memory arrested for a brief and fleeting moment in time. The horse has been very creatively placed to exact the maximum dramatic effect with it's shadow on the wall. Simple and uncluttered composition. Excellent processing to create just the right ambiance and mood with the tones, textures and colors. |

elegyby ubiqueComment: This grabs me. Wonderful. The mood you created with this image fits the title perfectly.
Ps. Came back for a 2nd look as the words and the song "Horse Latitudes" by The Doors just came to mind. You are probably familiar with The Doors and the song. If not Google "Horse Latitudes" Message edited by author 2010-11-24 05:34:38. |
