I love this, a really great shot with excellent composition. It appeals to me even more because I am a keen rock and surf angler myself having fished most of the beaches,coves and estuaries along the South African coastline between Natures Valley and Cape Town and can really identify with this wonderful image.

A shadow of the past

Lovely. Exudes an air of nostalgia. You lift the veil of the past with this image to give us a glimpse of a memory arrested for a brief and fleeting moment in time. The horse has been very creatively placed to exact the maximum dramatic effect with it's shadow on the wall. Simple and uncluttered composition. Excellent processing to create just the right ambiance and mood with the tones, textures and colors.
