City Explorerby GeorgesBogaertComment: Wonderful work - Georges I assume?
Only nitpicking: I don't know of I like the yellow button so close to the Taipeh Tower - but yes- maybe it has to be so close if it's supposed to be a sticker? |

Last Light, Monday by C_Steve_GComment: what a dramatic sky!
I know I'm very sensitive about tilted horizons and this one is tilted ot the right imo - if only a tiny degree.
Also I would have cropped this scene more boldly:
on the left side including the first orange cloud, on the right side about half of the trees and at the bottom at least half of the green field.
Eventually this is my personal taste and others might give a different feedback |

Desolate Timesby Polar7Comment: This has to be a provocation!
I can understand how you want to show your dismay with the 90° turn...but I personally think this is a slight on the viewer.
You might as well get the same "desolation" atmosphere if you turned it into a B&W image or choose a little underexposure or added a dark vignette. |

Social Distancing is easy when the world around you is bleak and unforgivingby RyanWComment: your picture is the perfect visualisation of your title - that's for sure.
There is nothing wrong about it when you want to transport this kind of depressing emotion.
But if I imagine this hanging in a gallery as a single photography I would certainly walk by and not spend a second or third look. Only if it was accompanied with serveral other pictures combined together as an essay f.e. it might reveal ist strength. |

Swamp Land by WildpurpleComment: I like it a lot. Love how the reflection slowly disappears in the movement of the water. Well seen.
I am not sure whether I would like it even better, whether the bank was perfectly balanced or whether the trees would affect my sense of balance. It's probably a matter of personal taste |

Library_pond_entryby hkpdsoComment: A quaint little pond!
Unfortunately the horizon is tilted to the left. The shadows could use more light and the sky is too light. This might be a result of the Position, the sun being a little bit too frontal.
I don't know the local conditions but maybe a short walk to the left, with the sun coming from behind would have helped? If the library itself is an interesting building the picture might have benefitted even more. |
