you have such a pleasing photo here...there are a couple of things that distract me...the leaf right under the flower petals really distracts me...I've been known to pluck them off. The placement of the leaf makes the petals of the flower seem soft on the focusing...because MY eye keeps going to the OOF leaf first.

this is totally technical and in the eye of the beholder (ME)...but it seems that you could have cropped this a little differently to really reduce the amount of "dead" space you have in the picture (mostly on the left side) it really does not add to the photo...and it would have kept the flower in the rule of thirds...mind you this is JMO....

for ME...I would really like to have the whole center of the flower in total sharp focus...mind you this is pretty...but the OOF area in the middle of the flower draws away from the beautiful flower

you have great focus on the flower...but to ME the figurine in the BG distracts and you could easily have cropped that out and still had a nice balance to your picture (NOT A CENTERED FLOWER...sigh)

that is a very odd flower...I assume that it hasn't opened up yet...would be curious to see the end result (or those are the seeds???)
