Lawrence sobbed quietly into his Lily. Why did the other bugs have to tease him so? So he had a preference for "girl flowers". They couldn't all like Tiger Lilies, could they?

Lawrence wiped a tear and flew away. One day, they'd understand.

With glances at each other and a few badly-covered up "throat clearings", Nancy's husband and his friends all unanimously declared her new dye job as top notch, and unfailingly beautiful.

Bumble should have listened to everyone, as -- drunk on a few pints of honey that night -- he went head on into a brown-eyed Susan.

It took everyone by complete and utter shock that day, when the old movie camera opened fire and started disintegrating the audience with its death ray.

Hours later, it was finally taken out in a hail of gunfire from the local sheriff's office, but only after decimating most of the town.

As embarrassing as it was getting caught in such compromising positions, it was even more embarrassing when the discovered that the person that caught them in such a position was none other than Medusa.

Contrary to popular belief, she can turn people into more than just stone.

Living in Mythological Greece sucked

There once was a Hippo named Clancy
Who wasn't partic'lar'ly fancy
You had better just flee
When he had to pee
Or get trampled as he got very antsy.

Tommy stood on ground that had once been the source of so much joy. His great-great-grandparents had owned this land, and had worked it as hard as they could, for what little they got in return. They had passed it down, generation to generation, and he had grown up here, his Father doing much the same, as if the land and world around them hadn't changed at all.

Tommy kicked at the dirt, and looked at the farmhouse he's spent so many seasons in. Boarded up, paint peeling, an image of sadness and time passing on. The fact is, the world had changed, and it had brought his family's land to its knees. The crops didn't sell, the banks wouldn't listen, and the earth didn't care.

Tommy wiped a tear as he turned to get back into his truck, and return to the city of which he now belonged. He said goodbye to his childhood and his memories, and to the ghosts of the past. The world had moved on and so had he.

Excitedly, Jack raced into the Photo store to pick up his prints. He'd seen a UFO last night, they were real, and Jack finally got the proof. They were right here!

With hardly a breath, Jack ripped open the package and pulled out the prints. No. No, this couldn't be! With an anguished cry, Jack tore through the prints, but they were all the same. There was no UFO, no proof. Only a jumbled bunch of lights. Then it struck him. How much Red Bull had he had that night? A lot. Apparently, far too much.

Jack cursed and threw the prints in the garbage and wandered home. Weeks later, when he saw the UFO again, this time without Red Bull in his system, he laughed.

He didn't realize UFOs were shaped like the Bug Zapper.

Not every superhero has a power to be proud of. Poor Sally simply had the ability to become motion blurred.

Now what kind of power is that?

Desperately, Stan, Jim, and Carl raced away from the scene. Their hearts filled with fear and terror. As Jim glanced behind him, he screamed for Stan to throttle forward as fast as possible.

The world had become hue damaged, and it was coming toward them!!
