	The Sunshine Boy by gsal Comment: Best portrait I've seen so far. The warm tones of the face and shirt are perfectly supported by the background. Just the right amount of light and shadow. The expression is very haunting. A fave.

	Backwater by wetland Comment: That water is so clear. It feels like everything is important in this shot. Hard to focus on one thing - the blue boat is strong, but is surrounded by equally strong and compelling elements.

	Alone on the beach by edmeng Comment: Simple yet powerful. LOVE that extra footprint top left, and the gradient light on the sand. The towel is a very strong graphic, and the trench in the sand adds a raw element.

	Time by badger88 Comment: Straight out of X Files. Very mysterious. Great use of light. Very interesting portal shape, and geometric shapes. I wonder if cloning out the door handles would have made it even better. Also, the object on the lower left is distracting. Either more of it or not at all?
