Contemplationby merissab91Comment: Everything about this image is awkward, and I can't tell if it is intentional, but it doesn't really work for me as there doesn't appear to be a reason for the awkwardness other than to be awkward (sheesh! how many times can a person use awkward in one sentence!!!!!)
Also, a little more attention to the details of the setting would be nice (here we are drawn to the imperfections on the back wall - lines, scratches, holes), and the band across the bottom bisects the image rather than contributes to it.
But clearly, something is working since it compelled me to write a whole essay! |

The Dungeonby HaneckComment: Surreal and wonderful. Love the concrete corner location and the lighting is sensational. But the focus seems just a bit off. It seems to be sharper just behind her - the back of the chair and her hair is a bit fuzzy. I see this in b/w. |

still have some years leftby libertyComment: Oh, you really captured the teenage surliness! Love the disembodiment of this little scene - anger and resentment in the void. |

Passionby gyabanComment: I could tell just from the thumbnail that this is going on the fp. Probably ribbon. Strong composition and obviously, wonderful lighting, although for me, it drops off too much at the very bottom and far right and we lose a lot of detail there. Everything else is dynamite. |

Frankly, I Prefer Sofasby banmornComment: Oh, this is SO close to being great. Very whimsical idea, terrific location/chair/floor/wall. I just wish a bit more attention had been paid to the wardrobe. It seems so pedestrian for such a playful idea, and doesn't contribute to the overall absurdist feeling. At least they're nicely pressed :-) |

Look here!by mitalapoComment: I was going to enter something like this as well but never got around to shooting :-) Lovely pov and great tones and dof. Perhaps a tad dark overall - I'd have liked just a tiny bit more on her face (which appears darker than the white shirt to the right). |

Posingby AdzComment: It is amazing how such a simple image can evoke such complex emotions. Magnificent, and so glad it made the fp. |

Light Breaking the Sky by JohannesFrankComment: I'm living vicariously through your name, imagining that it's almost mine :-)
Fabulous image. One of my faves of the challenge. Congrats on the yellow. |
