This idea is really wonderful. Nice clean subjects, terrific isolated tree. For me, there needs to be just a bit more depth in the tonal range, as this appears a little bit overexposed, and I wish there was just a little more space between the yogi and the tree.

I guess I don't understand this challenge at all, so I'm just commenting on the image itself. This is just marvelous. I'm guessing he's near a wall of some sort, or the world's biggest wave? The muted colors are sensational, as is the great detail and sharpness of the boy and sand. The dof really adds a lot to this image, as does the vignetting, although I think the border weakens the composition.
