I find that most of my night images have this same reddish cast - and most of the time it is not desirable. I do like the composition, but as others have pointed out, I'd have preferred more commitment towards either star trails or points of light. The sky seems a tad smudged. Good luck! These are really, really tough for me.

Oh, this one ROCKS! The lighting in that place is so magical!! Maybe dodge a bit of the highlights in her hair to give it a little more texture? See? NOT so difficult :-)

All my images from that day are on her behind-the-scenes flickr page. Only two of them are composites - the main one and the fallen one that was just a surprise - and NOT a composite. Just cloned out the box.

This is wonderful Juliet!!!! You silly girl, you didn't think you could do it. On my monitor, it all works very seemlessly. I don't know what black line you are referring to. My only artistic input would be to lighten up her shadow on the floor a bit, make it just a bit smaller (so it doesn't bleed into the bg), and make it softer towards the edges. Otherwise, this is beautiful!!!
