Strange and compelling. I'm guessing this was taken from behind a glass, which had the light beams on it? They could easily have spoiled the image, but instead, become an enigmatic and powerful element in it. Are aliens targeting a landing spot? Has Hollywood out-Hollywooded itself in lighting effects? Love this.

Little Orange Dingy

This just might be my pick for the blue. Spectacular in every sense of the world. Awesome lines, and the detail on those trees is breathtaking. And even though the orange skiff is the subject and perfectly anchors the shot, there is much to enjoy everywhere. Thought the day may appear sad and dull and gray, the little boat offers us a Mona Lisa smile.
