 I was in New York over Thanksgiving and my wife fell asleep before me. I could not sleep and decided to go downtown to take some pictures. It was unfortunately raining and I did not feel like leaving the hotel in the rain. I explored our Hotel and found a roof access on the 57th floor of my hotel. I’m sure I was not supposed to but I climbed up a ladder and ended up on the roof. I was quite happy with the view and it turned out that the moisture in the air gave the reflecting light of the city a nice orange glow. Hope you like it…

Strange and compelling. I'm guessing this was taken from behind a glass, which had the light beams on it? They could easily have spoiled the image, but instead, become an enigmatic and powerful element in it. Are aliens targeting a landing spot? Has Hollywood out-Hollywooded itself in lighting effects? Love this.
