Hmmmm. Interesting take on the challenge. This is a really wonderful image, and a creative use of lensbaby (or something similar). But the object itself is not different from the others, just placed separately. Not sure how to vote on this.

For me, this image has great potential. The objects are very interesting, the bg is good; even the light source works. However, and again, this is just my opinion, the composition is static, the focus too soft, the color/white balance is off, and the lighting levels and contrast could have been fiddled with to make this far more powerful.
